This course provides an introduction to conflict resolution.

The course is open to anyone with an interest in conflict and how its is resolved. The course is online and available throughout the world.

The course runs over three weeks and is followed by a final week where you will complete a self-assessment exercise. The course covers three themes:

  • What is conflict and what causes it?
  • Why does conflict escalate?
  • How can conflict be effectively resolved?

When taking part on the course you will be asked to watch videos, read some online materials, participate in online discussions with fellow students and tutors, and complete some online quizzes.

You should budget a few hours a week to take part on the course.

At the end of the course, if you successfully complete the self-assessment exercise, you will obtain a Certificate of Attendance, confirming your participation in the course.
